Visit Yosemite

Visit Yosemite with its many spectacular waterfalls and gigantic granite structures.  Take in the wondrous views and experience walking into the waterfall sprays. For more adventure, float down the Merced river down the middle of the valley.  Don't miss the animals or the mountain climbers that challenge the steep cliffs.    
Glacier point provides you with a vista that is  4000 ft above Yosemite valley.  From this point,  you will have an overview of Yosemite Falls and Half Dome.  Additionally, you can look into the expanse of the High Sierras including  the Merced River Valley with its magnificent water falls.    There are also many walks to more view points from along this road.   Further south is the Mariposa Sequoia Grove where you can view the giant trees that are thousands of years old.  
Tioga pass is the eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park. The road tours the breadth of the high sierra mountains across Yosemite National Park.  This route is one of the most outstanding automobile rides anywhere in the world.

Visiting Parks wants to inspire you to go love the earth. We suggest 80 national , state , and local parks, as well as  other areas that are maintained in their natural environment and just waiting for you to enjoy.   These parks are arranged into 10 roadtrips.  Some of these parks are well know like: Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon.  Visiting Parks also  introduces some parks are just not as well known like: Lake Mead, Lake Tahoe, Zion, Grand Tetons, and Petrified Forest. Others places are quaint locations like: Oatman, Bodie, Cedar Breaks, Jasper, and Tombstone. There are even many hidden secrets that just as amazing. Consider touring on the Convict Lake, Snow Canyon, Cathedral Gorge, Devil's Garden, or Chiricahua National Monument.
We have arranged the parks into tours. Each tour takes you along a very scenic route which is an  adventure in its own right. Most of the tours can be traveled in a week but we suggest that you take your time and break the tours into parts. Our Custom Adventures will assist you with you trip planning so just email us.
For each park, Visiting Parks shows a video so you can see what to expect. The videos highlight special places in each park.  Almost all of featured areas can be observed within a very short distance from your auto. But, please adventure into the wilds to enjoy much of what the first visitors found exciting. You will find that each  of our 80 locations  includes a series of maps to get there and along with other places that you can go which are close by. There is always a link to a park map so you can find your way around when you are there.
